Movement in Menopause
Menopause – It’s a different way to move.
Menopause asks for a shift — not just in how we treat the body, but in how we move it.
What once worked can begin to feel too much, too forceful, or simply no longer effective.
This is where a more considered approach becomes essential.
Over time, my work has naturally expanded beyond the treatment room through a close collaboration with Rachel, a HYROX athlete and personal trainer in peri-menopause. I trust her deeply. Our work came together organically — through shared clients, conversations on the gym floor, and a mutual recognition that the menopausal body needs a different kind of support.
What we’ve seen, again and again, is that this phase of life isn’t about pushing harder — it’s about learning how to move with awareness, strength, and respect for a changing system. When the body is supported through both nervous-system-led bodywork and intelligent, tailored movement, the results are often more profound and sustainable.
Rachel works in a highly individual, word-of-mouth capacity, supporting women who want to rebuild strength, confidence, and trust in their bodies without force or overwhelm. Where appropriate, I may suggest working with her alongside your treatments — creating a more complete, joined-up approach to how you feel in your body day to day.
