Book a partner massage session and learn how to massage your pregnant partner during the third trimester and through labour. During the one hour session, you will learn:
- techniques for easing lower back pain
- techniques for natural pain relief
- abdomen massage
- techniques for calming and reassuring your partner
- many positions for labour
Many of the techniques are taught using a swiss ball (also known as a birthing ball or stability ball). It’s advisable to buy a ball before the session (although you do not need to bring it with you), so that you can practise as soon as you get home. Both of you require to be present at this session.
