What do I need to bring to the course?
Everything you will need for the massage is supplied. Just bring yourself and baby & anything else that you would take out for a normal day out: milk/food, nappies, change of clothes etc....
What happens if I need to feed my baby during the massage?
Please don't worry. Breast or bottle feed as necessary. Don't worry about stopping the massage to feed. We repeat everything learned from previous weeks, every week. That way you have a chance to really learn the techinques and to catch up if you missed something. Massage technique handouts are given out at the end of every class so you could also follow those and practise at home.
My baby has eczema, can I use massage oil?
If your doctor has prescribed a cream to use on your baby's skin, then plese bring it with you and use it for the massage. You will be supplied with baby massage oil however which we have a discussion about on day one.
The course time is my baby's usual nap time, can I still do baby massage?
I encourage not to massage your baby when already asleep. You can of course still attend the course and you can learn a lot from watching and practise with your baby when at home at a more suitable time. Experience has shown that many mums have tried to adapt their baby's routine across the 5 weeks so that they can enjoy massage together at the class. This is of course entirely up to you.
I can no longer attend the course and I have already paid
Each case will be looked at individually. The basic rule of thumb is that cancellations less than one week and greater than 48hours before the course is due to begin are subject to a 50% cancellation fee. If your cancelling from the course then means that the course has too few people to run, you will not be refunded.
Cancellations of 48hours or less will not be refunded.
You will receive a full refund if you give notice of cancellation one week or longer before the course starts.
If I need to cancel the course, you will be asked if you want to enrol on another course, or if you would prefer a full refund.
